A Naturally Balanced Terroir

The Grand Armagnac area is largely shaped by sables fauves — poor, well-drained sandy-silty soils that naturally limit vine vigor. This natural constraint encourages gradual ripening and helps preserve freshness, a key element in producing balanced white wines.
The climate of the Gers, influenced by the Atlantic, alternates warm days with cooler nights. This thermal amplitude slows the loss of acidity and supports aromatic expression. The combination of these filtering soils and a temperate climate creates particularly favourable conditions for clean, tense and highly drinkable white wines.
Our 120-hectare estate, established on these characteristic Grand Armagnac soils, allows for precise parcel management and rigorous control of ripeness.

A Tradition Rooted in Armagnac

Historically cultivated for distillation, the vineyards of the Grand Armagnac have always prioritised grapes rich in acidity and freshness. These qualities, essential for Armagnac production, are today a major asset in crafting precise, well-balanced dry white wines.
This culture of fresh, vibrant fruit naturally shapes wines structured by tension rather than power.

Grape Varieties Serving the Terroir

Across our 120 hectares, grape varieties are planted according to the nature of each parcel. Sauvignon Blanc and Colombard express brightness and aromatic lift on sandy soils. Gros Manseng retains intensity and balance without heaviness. Chardonnay, grown with controlled yields, brings structure and roundness.
Together, they create clear and expressive white wines built on freshness and directly reflective of the character of the Grand Armagnac terroir.
